Pumpkin, Peanut Butter, No Bake? Sounds like a winning combination!
I went searching around for some easy peasy dog treat recipes and stumbled upon a couple of great sites with a similar takes on no-bake pumpkin treats. These two sites served as my inspiration to try it myself. I have to say, my results were great. Your sweet pup will looooove these super easy, no-bake peanut butter, pumpkin dog treats. And, your little ones will have a total blast making them. These are one of the easiest recipes to make for kids and, duh, PUMPKIN is perfection any time of the year. Don’t deny your dog.
Ingredients:
♥ 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
♥ 1 Cup Canned Pure Pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling!)
♥ 1 Tbsp Honey
♥ 2 1/2 Cups Oats
Directions:
♥ Combine all ingredients except one cup of the oats (hold that aside for some fun in a few minutes!)
In addition to this recipe, I like to add herbal supplements to the mix. My go-tos are turmeric, cinnamon and ginger but feel free to add whatever your pup is on. You can store these little balls of doggie yum in the refrigerator or the freezer.
